SAT-College

Colleges, Universities, and scholarship programs use your academic record, SAT Program test scores, extracurricular activities, teacher recommendations, and answers to application questions to see how well prepared you are to do college level work. Scores on standardized tests like the SAT I: Reasoning Test and SAT II: Subject Tests enable colleges to compare the academic achievements of students from different schools. This is helpful because courses and grading standards may vary widely.

SAT I: REASONING TEST

The SAT I is a three-hour, primarily multiple-choice test that measures verbal and mathematical reasoning abilities that develop over time. Many colleges require SAT I scores for admission.

SAT II: SUBJECT TESTS

Subject Tests are one-hour, primarily multiple-choice tests that measure you knowledge of particular subjects and your ability to apply that knowledge. Check the requirements of the colleges you're considering. Many require or recommend one or more Subject Tests for admission or placement.
